The Golden Grove, exploring food and nature together...
Using the head, hearts and hands, we discover the world around us.
Starting humbly with the earth, the seed, the sun, the rain, and a little bit of love, the Golden Grove is a place to nurture the golden years of childhood.
- We run early years programs
- We run home school programs
- We run primary school programs
- We run family programs
- We run parent programs
- We run educator professional development programs
- We run nature-based celebration offerings.
If it nurtures a child’s exploration of nature and food, during their golden years, then the Golden Grove is where it will happen
3 years we have been on site and we have established a strong rhythm of two days of Foodie Nature Play and two days of our Home school garden club.
We would love to see you at one of our programs. You can book in below here.

Our Golden Programs
Foodie Nature Play
A special time for the early years where children and parents come together to embrace and explore the grove.
Each week we are loosely guided by a seasonal theme, a food, an animal, a plant. We explore that through our hearts, hands and head using story, song, arts and crafts, cooking, gardening, experimentation and play. Lots of messy, child led play.

What people say about us
My daughter was so enamoured with the story about the apple, and now we look for the star in it, every time we eat one.Laura, Mum of 3 year old
The class is so excited when they realise it is cooking day with Mandy. They are excited to see what they will make and have learnt so much over the last 6 months with her. Megan, Preschool room leader.
I would just like to say thank you Mandy for the time and effort that was put into the preparation of our in-service. That you had proposed and presented was perfectly suited to what we needed and it was so valuable to have you speak with us.Kristy, Centre Directior, Sustainable Play Preschool Barnsley
