School holiday programs on the Central Coast in Tuggerah
Every school holidays at The Golden Grove, we run a colourful array of programs. Stay and play with a mama or even Nan or Pop. And also drop and kiss with our holiday Garden club programs.
They are similar to our in term programs but also unique as we all know, that a session with a group of children, however much you plan, is guided by the children present, scaffolded by the guides.
This Spring, in October, we have 4 days planned.
2 sessions of Foodie Nature Play – 2 hours of stay and play with older siblings more than welcome.
2 session of our Garden club – 3 hours of drop and kiss, where we go a little deeper.
We are based at The Golden Grove, our children’s garden and this Spring, our theme is beeeeeesssss.

Recently we have seen a new type of bee. A Black Peacock Carpenter bee. A solitary native Australian bee. I couldn’t believe it.
We have also seen Native stingless bees (care of the two hives next door at SWAMP).
We have seen a Teddy bear bee. European honey bee. And blue banded bees.
Heaven.
Anyhoo.
We would love to see you these school holidays.
And below is a bit more about our why.
