Mini Pear Crumbles

These mini pear crumbles are not only delicious but are a great way to step up a kindy aged child to a multiple step and multiple ingredient recipe and procedure.

They will feel different textures with the oats, flour and then the sugar or honey and butter. A great sensory experience for all.

What you need per child is:

– 2-3 slices of stewed or canned pear
– 1 tbsp of rolled oats or quinoa flakes
– 1 tbsp of flour (plain/gluten free)
– 1 tbsp of seeds (if you like)
– 1 pinch of cinnamon
– 1 tsp of dried fruits
– 1 tsp of honey/rice malt/brown sugar/maple syrup
– 2 tsp of butter/coconut oil
