When is fussy eating really a problem, and what can I do to support my darling?
I had a lovely chat with a Papa at the garden last week. His darling is around 2 and was an incredibly voracious eater until around 18 months. Picture perfect glamour baby eater. Everything. And then, he wasn’t.
The difference with this Papa to other parents I meet, he knows that it is partially developmental. And that his child is supposed to learn to say no. And that his and his partner’s role is to keep exposing and offering a diverse range of foods, age appropriately, to their child, until they move through it.
Do you think your little one is a little like this poppet?
Has your 2 year old suddenly become fussy?
Or perhaps your 6 year old use to be an incredible eater and now eats beige food 24/7.
If you are unsure of what to do next, or perhaps unsure of where you currently are, I am running a free webinar next Thursday evening to talk about just this.
- The types of eaters out there
- What happens developmentally that lends to a little change
- What can you do through these changes
- When there perhaps is an issue and to seek some external support
We will aim for 1 hour but I do know people love a QandA. Flick me over any in advance if you like.
The webinar will be recorded.
We are offering a few of these webinars over the next few months. A variety of topics, all around children and food in varying capacities. So keep you eye out.
