Welcome back to the garden.

We are hoping this year to get more videos up here for you to enjoy. Today, we wanted to share with you some delicious little green bites.

Cucamelons.

We love growing these at the Golden Grove as they are such a fun little morsel for children to discover and munch.

They are crunchy and a little tart, which lends to further discussion, exploration and comparison to other fruits and vegetables growing the garden.

Cucamelons are native to Mexico and the Central Americas. They are such a great addition to any garden as they are known to self seed over the years, winning!!!! But to get you started, you can even get the seeds now from Bunnings.

They are also quite drought tolerant which is great for the Australian climate.

If you are thinking of coming to a session we are running our regular Foodie Nature Play playgroup (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays). Mondays are our younger home school group, the Goldie Grovers (4-6 year olds) and our older home school group is on Wednesday arvos are for 7-12 year olds.

All of these (besides our older home school group) are bookable on our bookwhen site.

We are also working on our packaged for preschools and schools for excursions.

And getting our online resources out, for educators and families.
